Jerry Evans was born in Ohio and has made his home in Illinois for more than two decades. He graduated from Wheaton College in 2006 and built his career as an educator and entrepreneur in the western suburbs of Chicago.

He is the founder and owner of the Jerry Evans School of Music in Wheaton. What began in 2002 with Jerry teaching a few students on his own has grown into a multi-instrument school that has taught thousands of children and adults across DuPage County. He still teaches there.

In 2024 Jerry won the Republican primary in Illinois's 11th Congressional District and carried the party's banner in the general election against a long-serving Democratic incumbent. He ran as a political outsider on the cost of living, secure borders, school choice and support for small business, and he finished with the strongest Republican showing in the district in years.

That race is why he chairs Foundations PAC. Jerry has seen first-hand what it means to compete in a district the national groups have written off, and he believes close Republican seats deserve a defense that is early, disciplined and driven by data instead of by the television map.

Jerry lives in Warrenville with his wife, Lisa, and their children. He is active in his church and in community organizations across DuPage County.

Every dollar goes to the districts: research, digital, text, mail, and the voter contact a close race demands.
